The whole 2019 year was very dynamic and fascinating for the DashDevs team, and this autumn was no exception. In October and November, our CEO, Igor Tomych, and VP of Business Development Departments, Yuriy Soshenko, visited two significant events in the UK — NOAH 2019 Conference and the Ultimate Global Fintech Festival FinTECHTalents 2019. Both conferences took place in London and brought a lot of new connections and inspiration to us.

Our team works closely with financial institutions from all over the world and has over five years of experience in developing and launching powerful fintech apps under its belt. For the UK market, we’ve developed mobile applications and fintech platform for financial institution Dozens. This solution already has more than 20,000 of clients and was included in the list of 100 FinTech Disrupters and the UK Startup 100 Index. Meanwhile, we are working on five different fintech projects for different countries.

This year we’ve decided to take part in two of the most influential fintech conferences in the UK.

Dashdevs at the NOAH Conference 2019 in London

NOAH Conference is one of the trendsetting conferences in the United Kingdom. It connects digital service providers, fintech service providers, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and startup teams to share knowledge, present their results, and establish beneficial business connections. This year NOAH took place at London’s Old Billingsgate from 30 to 31 October. For the last few years, NOAH Conference has become the leading fintech industry event and this year was no exception. Hundreds of fintechs visited London to share ideas.

The incredible part of the NOAH conference 2019 is to see how startups and new businesses pitch, show demos of their products, and talk about some global objectives on the NOAH Startup Stage. The fire in their eyes inspires potential investors and partners. At such conferences, fintech newbies can get acquainted with CEOs and C-level executives of the fintech unicorns. The leaders of the companies share their experience and vision on the future of the financial and banking sphere.

While we were listening to the keynotes and company representations on the main stage, we recognized the truth of the statement about fintech trends to dominate in 2020 that we’ve noticed during the last year.

All the attendees of the conference share a common thought that UK fintech companies will soon conquer the high-street banks in the UK and move on to winning the global markets.

Our team at the FinTECHTalents 2019

The FinTECHTalents festival astounded us with the scale and the quality of the organization. The festival gathered under one roof new startups, fintech service providers, financial institutions, and unicorn companies to talk about their experience, as well as challenges and achievements in the financial sector.

Traditionally this festival has a Steering Committee that is a representation of the full fintech ecosystem. This year it consisted of C-level officers responsible for growth, digital technologies, and innovations from such market leaders as Citibank, ING, TSB, Santander, HSBC, Hargreaves Lansdown, BBVA, AIG, and Groupe Societe Generale.

Such festivals are the best place for the new fintechs to pitch their business to potential investors. It creates new opportunities for the fintech industry to learn from each other, grow and collaborate.

FinTECH Talents 2019 had a different flavour in contrast to all the events that we’ve attended because the initiators could create the cottonwool surroundings with live music accompaniment and craft beer. This atmosphere made everybody comfortable to showcase their products, discuss the technological changes, make connections, and share goals that companies want to reach in 2020.

Presentation of the Dozens Project Imagine platform

FinTECHTalents 2019 was the first conference where Project Imagine presented their powerful product that runs fintech institution Dozens. This event is captivating for us because we’ve developed the PI1 fintech platform from concept to production-ready solution in only 9 months, which turned out to be a Herculean task for about 99 percent of IT service providers. Now it can be integrated with any third-party provider and mobile application.

Initially, the PI1 platform was designed to help new fintechs or market monsters to speed up the development of new products and simplify their launch to the market. The solution allows fintech providers to integrate payment and card processing services, cross-border payment providers, card issuers, and KYC/AML tools.

Since we work with real business, we know that just tech is not enough. Fintech institutions, investment funds, and digital banks need to know the behavioral aspects of their users. That’s why the Project Imagine platform has integration with data warehouses that collect data from mobile applications and service providers to transmit it to Data analytics & science tools for processing.

The concept of the fintech platform PI1 is the best solution for startups and growing companies, since it solves technical challenges for the businesses time- and cost-efficiently.
