Position overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer - to join our dynamic team. This role requires hands-on experience testing web applications and web services as well as hands on experience in API(Postman/Rest Assured) testing.
The size and the structure of the team 2-3 .NET Engineer 2-3 Python Engineer 1-2 QA Engineer
What technologies do we use on our project: Selenium (+ Postman, Jmeter)
The position requires a hybrid work format and office attendance in Krakow, Poland.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Experienced at scripting automated regression tests, using tools such as Selenium WebDriver
- Current/Past experience in JMeter
- Experienced with SQL (inserts, updates, Joins and etc.)
- Experienced with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo
- Familiar with development concepts and formats such as XML, JSON, and scripting languages
- Responsible for all testing activities
- Troubleshoot customer issues
- Evaluate product performance
- Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
- Familiarity with Agile [Scrum]
- Experience in testing non-GUI applications (SQL, Flat Files, XML, and etc.)
- English level - B2
Skills that will be a plus:
- Development background is a plus
- Experience with Apache Lucene based search technologies like ElasticSearch and Solr
- Experience with AWS services
- Familiarity with the Property and Casualty Industry is a plus
Previous experience preferred: Domain will be financial services, insurance. Domain knowledge will be good to have but not necessary
