Position overview
Our client is a rapidly growing EU-based fintech company providing innovative payment services for online merchants and various businesses across Europe and worldwide. We collaborate with European acquiring banks and numerous other payment institutions globally to offer comprehensive online payments, card services, and crypto payments to our clients.
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our growing product team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in creating user-centered interfaces, reusable design systems, and efficient design workflows using Figma. You will play a key role in designing intuitive, visually appealing, and scalable solutions for our fintech platforms. Experience in fintech or payments is a strong advantage.

YOUR BACKGROUND
- User Interface Design: Deliver clean, modern, and consistent UI designs for web platforms.
- Design System Development: Create and maintain a Design System using reusable components and tokens/variables to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Prototyping & User Flows: Build interactive prototypes and define user flows to support product features and experiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and the Engineering Team to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.
- Feedback Integration: Collect, analyze, and incorporate user feedback and usability test results into design improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain design specs and component usage guidelines in Figma or other supporting tools.
- Accessibility & Responsiveness: Design with accessibility standards and responsive best practices in mind.
- English: Strong written and verbal English skills are essential as the primary communication language within the company is English.
- Romanian or Russian: Fluency in spoken and written Romanian or/and Russian is required.
Responsibilities
- 4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Figma, including design tokens, component libraries, and prototyping.
- Proven experience in creating and scaling Design Systems.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, UX best practices, and interaction design.
- Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or banking products is considered a significant plus.
- Experience in product-focused environments is a plus.
