Principal/Senior Platform Engineer

Position overview

A senior technical role responsible for designing, automating, securing, and operating Vision Bank’s multi-cloud platform (OCI & GCP). Ensures high availability, resilience, security, and compliance for all banking workloads while driving automation, GitOps, and operational excellence. It is vital that you have good communication skills and a proven ability to work well with both technical and non-technical colleagues and be comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Digital Bank in Saudi Arabia. You will be embracing 12 factor app philosophies and driving key deliverables to our applications and services. The size and the structure of the team

Our Engineering Team is now growing consisting of Senior Software Developers, DevSecOps Engineers, Architects and Designers who are responsible for the end-to-end ownership of our platform, from architecture through to infrastructure. Individually they are all exceptional at what they do, but by working collaboratively within a team, consistently applying best-practice and automating absolutely everything they are able to build world-class software for our customers. This is a completely greenfield project, a fully funded cutting edge startup that will require you to muck in with every aspect of our delivery lifecycle. Sometimes you might be working closely with the DevSecOps engineering teams, other times with the PO’s and other times with external parties defining integration mechanisms. We don’t mind where our Developers are based as we are happy for our team to work from anywhere in the UK, EU or GCC, with most of them choosing to work remotely most of the time. We encourage our colleagues to participate in regular (as often as possible) meet-ups with the rest of the team worldwide. We find this builds the effective working relationships that are otherwise missing with fully remote teams.
