Position overview
We are looking for a Podcast Manager at Fintech Garden who will be responsible for running our podcast end-to-end as a high-impact media product. This includes planning episodes, managing guest collaboration, coordinating recording and production, updating the website, and ensuring each episode reaches and resonates with our target fintech audience. The role directly supports brand growth, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Fluent in English with excellent writing and editing skills
- 2+ years of experience managing or producing podcasts or long-form audio/video content
- Strong organisational and planning skills with experience managing editorial calendars
- Confident communicator with external partners, guests, and internal teams
- Comfortable using tools like Jira, Trello
Skills that will be a plus:
- Background in fintech, media, or B2B content
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Google Calendar, and Riverside
- Previous work with creative contractors (editors, designers, writers)
- Interest in growing media products or building brand ecosystems
Responsibilities
- Manage podcast operations and calendar: Plan and maintain a rolling 3-month publishing schedule in Confluence. Ensure consistent output and forward visibility.
- Coordinate full-cycle episode delivery: Oversee all stages of production (prep, record, edit, publish) using Jira and shared workflows. Keep the team aligned and timelines intact.
- Lead editorial and guest preparation: Select high-fit guests, suggest aligned topics, and prepare all materials pre-recording.
- Negotiate strategic collaborations: Secure co-promotion or media partnerships with high-profile guests, negotiate fees where applicable. Maximise podcast reach and ROI.
- Manage editing and vendor relations: Brief editors clearly, monitor review cycles, and ensure final content meets standards. Maintain quality and avoid bottlenecks.
- Update and maintain podcast hub on the website: Ensure each episode is live with audio, YouTube embed, summary, guest info, and CTA.
- Amplify content across channels: Brief content writers and designers, extract key snippets, and coordinate visuals. Extend the life and value of each episode.
- Track performance and drive improvements: Monitor analytics, gather listener feedback, benchmark competitors, and propose format changes. Ensure the podcast stays relevant and valuable.
Please, pay attention to the fact that business trips to Budapest could be needed for this position.
