Position overview
We’re looking for a VP of the Business Development Department (with the possibility of going out of Ukraine for business trips) who will drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong client relationships.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- At least 3 years of successful experience in active sales as a Sales Manager/BDM in an IT outsourcing company
- At least 1 year in a management position (Team Lead, Head, Vice President)
- Advanced level of English - written and verbal, fluent communication skills
- Ability to handle the sales process starting from the lead stage to the closing
- General understanding of development process and technologies for web and mobile apps
- Experience in sales through LinkedIn/Events, other sources, and tools
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
Skills that will be a plus:
- Project management knowledge or basics of computer science, tech knowledge of IT services, programming languages /product management
- Experience in preparing commercial offers
- Fintech domain experience
- Second Foreign Language
Responsibilities
- Develop Department Strategy according to the company goals
- Define teams’ working plans according to the approved strategy
- Prepare and control the Department’s budget
- Design of the main department guidelines
- Install goals and metrics for department success. Control their fulfillment
- Lead and motivate the team to advance employee engagement, develop a high-performing managerial team
- Control implementation of sales procedures and customer journey
- Develop a strong knowledge of company services to facilitate the sales process
- Understand how the benefits of company services can meet customer’s needs in various business verticals
- Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
- Negotiate and close deals with key customers and ensure their profitability
- Form strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing networks
- Act as a key contact for Customer/Partner accounts.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, key performance indicators, and market trends.
- Conduct post-implementation analysis to assess the success of business initiatives.
