Why Fintech Core + Sumsub

Sumsub runs the checks. Fintech Core handles everything around them.

Connecting a KYC vendor usually means weeks of work on sessions, webhooks, status mapping, and back-office screens before the first customer is onboarded. With Fintech Core, that work is already done.

  • Configure it instead of building it

On a new project, Sumsub is a configuration step. The hosted flow, status mapping, webhooks, and back-office review already exist, so your team can spend its time on the product instead of on plumbing.

  • One vendor for KYC, KYB and KYT

Customer, company, and transaction checks share one Sumsub account, one case history and one compliance workflow. Your compliance team works in one place, and auditors see one trail.

  • Proven in production

Sumsub is the most-used vendor in Fintech Core, running on five client projects. On Kleos, verification completion went from 68% to 88%.

  • Keep your own Sumsub account

Fintech Core connects to the Sumsub account you already have. Your levels, rules, and contract stay as they are. On one project, we delivered KYB by reusing the client's existing Sumsub setup.

What's ready out of the box

Five capabilities you don't have to build.

  • Individual KYC

Identity verification in your app through the Sumsub SDK, or through a hosted link you can send by email or SMS.

  • Company KYB

Company verification that includes beneficial owners and their ownership shares, so the ownership structure is linked to the company record.

  • Tier upgrades

Move a customer to a higher verification level when they unlock a new limit or product. It runs on the same applicant, so the customer doesn't start over.

  • Fiat transaction monitoring (KYT)

Fintech Core sends each fiat transaction to Sumsub with amount, currency, and direction. The result comes back as pending, processing, suspended, approved, or rejected, and your product can act on it.

  • Reusable KYC share token

A single-use token lets a partner reuse an already verified applicant without running the check again. Default lifetime: 20 minutes.

How a check runs

From the request in your product to the result on the customer record.

  1. 1 Start

Your product asks Fintech Core to verify a customer.

  2. 2 Open the session

Fintech Core opens a Sumsub session and returns an access token. It also returns a hosted link if you ask for one.

  3. 3 Verify

The customer completes the check in your app or through the hosted link.

  4. 4 Track

Sumsub sends status updates by webhook, and Fintech Core updates the applicant in real time.

  5. 5 Store

When the review finishes, Fintech Core writes the final status and data to the customer record.

  6. 6 Reuse

Later tier upgrades and transaction checks run on the same applicant.

What lands on the customer record

Six clear statuses for your product and back office, plus the verified data.
