How pricing works

Cost categoryWhat it coversHow it is charged
Setup and implementation feePlatform setup, configuration, deployment and the implementation activities defined in your scope.A one-time project fee for the agreed scope.
Customization feeAdditional workflows, interfaces, provider adapters and other development required for your product.Scoped project work, either within the initial implementation or as an agreed change.
Licence feeUse of the selected Fintech Core modules and extensions.A recurring quarterly fee under the product licence model. Source-code licensing is quoted separately.

A Fintech Core engagement combines software licensing with implementation and any customization your product requires.

Your quote identifies which activities are included in implementation, which are covered by the licence and which require a separate budget.

02

What you purchase from Fintech Core

You purchase the right to use the agreed software components, together with the implementation services needed for your product. Your scope can include:

Platform modules

Selected capabilities for onboarding, customer management, ledger and account logic, payments, card orchestration, reporting and back-office operations.

Customer and operational interfaces

APIs, back-office tools, web interfaces and mobile applications, according to the channels your product needs.

Configuration

Product rules, fees, limits, permissions, approval flows and operational settings.

Provider integrations

Connections to the named financial and technology providers in your scope, with the supported operations defined for each integration.

Implementation and testing

Requirements clarification, configuration, agreed development, integration testing, acceptance support and deployment activities.

Documentation and handover

The operating documentation, knowledge transfer and technical materials specified in your delivery plan. Source-code delivery depends on the licence selected.

03

Licensing, source code and ownership

ArrangementWhat you receiveHow ownership works
Product licenceThe right to operate the agreed Fintech Core software, with maintenance and support entitlements defined in the agreement.DashDevs retains the platform’s intellectual property. Source-code delivery and independent modification rights are not automatically included.
Source-code licenceAccess to the licensed source code and rights to maintain, modify and deploy it within the agreed scope.DashDevs retains ownership of its reusable platform intellectual property. Access to source code does not itself transfer that ownership.

The licence identifies the rights granted for frontend code, provider adapters and custom workflows. If your engineering team or another development partner needs to maintain the software, those access and modification rights should be included in the licence. The handover scope then identifies the repositories, documentation, deployment materials and knowledge transfer required. Licence duration, permitted use, transition assistance and rights following termination are defined in the agreement.

04

Deployment and responsibilities

Fintech Core is deployed into your own cloud environment, so you control the infrastructure account and your data.

During scoping, we agree who handles deployment, monitoring, backups, software updates and incident response. Your team can keep operational responsibilities, with DashDevs providing the implementation and support services in your engagement.

Before implementation begins, we also agree responsibilities for compliance policies, operational processes, testing and launch approval. Your team provides:

Product decisions

Product requirements, business decisions and acceptance criteria.

Regulatory setup

The relevant regulatory permissions or licensed partnerships.

Provider access

Provider agreements and access to each provider in your scope.

Infrastructure access

Access to the cloud environment needed for delivery.

05

External provider fees

Fintech Core is the software layer that connects your product to financial and technology providers. Regulated financial services are delivered by your own licensed entity or by contracted licensed partners. Depending on your product, external costs may include:

  • Banking and payments: onboarding, account services, payment execution, settlement and foreign exchange.
  • Cards: programme setup, issuing, processing, card production and delivery.
  • Verification and monitoring: KYC, KYB, screening, transaction monitoring and other checks.
  • Additional technology services: messaging, custody, wallet infrastructure or other services in your architecture.

Each provider has a separate agreement, typically with your company or your regulated partner, and we confirm who contracts with and pays each one during scoping. An integration does not include that provider’s fees or guarantee its approval, and regulatory authorisations and operating funds sit outside the software licence. 06

What changes your quote?

Your quote is tailored to your scope. The main pricing inputs are:

  • Functional scope: modules, workflows and operational controls required at launch.
  • Customer channels: APIs, web and mobile applications, and back-office interfaces.
  • Provider integrations: the providers you select, the operations required and whether existing connectors cover them.
  • Customization: changes to product logic, user experience, reporting and approval processes.
  • Migration and rollout: existing data, systems to replace, environments and deployment stages.
  • Operations and support: infrastructure requirements, service coverage and post-launch responsibilities.

Customer and transaction forecasts help size infrastructure and estimate provider charges. Those costs can grow with usage, while the standard Fintech Core licence stays based on functional scope.
